  47. My home system was manufactured in late spring 1995, just before
  48. Windows '95 was released.  It came with WFWG 3.11 installed, with a
  49. "freebie" to send for the Win'95 upgrade. I did send for the CD, but
  50. haven't yet installed it because I am satisfied with the way things run
  51. now.  I have two programs on my system that I also use at work, so it
  52. would be inconvenient to have to upgrade to the Win '95 versions, and
  53. those who have tried the patches report limited success.

  55. Seems I have seen 3.11 on the store shelves in the past few months, but
  56. maybe it's just a matter of MS selling off older inventory and
  57. discontinuing ordinary retail sales.  There's still plenty of technical
  58. support available for 3.1 and 3.11 users, since not everybody upgraded.
  59. Maybe there is a previous version of the AOL software that you could
  60. get upon request.
